this is not about that bryan adams' song!
this about the moon landing!
at 20:17:42 UTC on 20 july 1969 (1:47 am on 21 July 1969 sri lankan time), neil armstrong landed the lunar module Eagle on the surface of the Moon

Standin' on your mama's porch
You told me that you'd wait forever
Oh and when you held my hand
I knew that it was now or never
Those were the best days of my life

i thought bryan adams wrote that song about the moon landing.
he's canadian so it couldn't have been about the moon landing.
may be he knew about the moon landing but couldn't digest it
so he wrote a song about one of his flings
apparently the canadian govt has apologized for bryan adams

sustainable energy vs renewable energy

few months back during a brain storming session (with the know-it-all engineers - KIAE) came up the topic of sustainable energy vs renewable energy... well we were looking for a slogan... and one KIAE said to include sustainable energy and i said that renewable doesnt ALWAYS imply sustainable... may be it was irrelevant but what the heck its a brain storming session... so anyways the KIAE opposed by INSISTING that they are both the same, going by the logic that for something to sustain it must be renewable... and one of my friends there argued against it saying that its not...
